Meet us!
History
The idea behind Nordbeans was born in a small shop selling coffee accessories on Ruprechtická Street. The brothers Martin and Karel Kozlovi worked there with their wives. The shop evolved into our oldest café, Sweet City, and in the garage of its backyard, they built the roastery you know today.

Jakub Smolka
Head of Coffee
Kuba joined us in 2017 as a barista while working part-time during high school. After gaining experience, he began leading our courses and delving deeper into the topic of green coffee. Over time, he became actively involved in marketing and sales. Today, he shares his extensive coffee knowledge across Nordbeans, drawn from his experiences in cafés, farms, and competitions he has won. With the roasting team, he helps shape our coffee offerings from the purchase of green coffee to the final communication with customers.

Radek Kolombo
Roaster & Q-Grader
Ráďa joined us back in 2016 and is our longest-serving employee. He initially helped with the delivery of orders but gradually started assisting Chief Martin more in the roastery. Over the years, thanks to his unwavering diligence, he has gained so much experience that he now serves as the head roaster. His quality is further confirmed by earning the prestigious Q-Grader certification, held by only two people in the Czech Republic. Ráďa actively utilizes his experience as a judge in barista competitions.
Klára Korityáková
Café Manager
Klárka started in 2019 as a server in our café. However, from the very beginning, she had a clear ambition to move towards café management. She seized her opportunity during the opening of DOK, where she developed the concept and successfully navigated the launch amidst the COVID pandemic. By overcoming all unexpected challenges, she earned the trust to lead all food service operations as the general manager. Today, she assists the managers of individual establishments in setting and maintaining their strategies and concepts.
Lukáš Binder
Barista
Lukáš joined us right after graduating from the Secondary School of Gastronomy and Services in Liberec. He has been a key part of the team at our DOK café since its opening in 2020. Today, he is one of our most experienced baristas, having gained rich experience across our establishments. He helps determine the coffee offerings in all cafés and also develops the concepts for our non-coffee drinks and cocktails. Luky is a perfect example of bringing value back to the crafts in gastronomy.

Driver
We are looking for a reliable and responsible driver for our bakery. If you have a passion for driving and want to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring high-quality deliveries between our locations, don't hesitate to apply. Your role will include the safe and timely delivery of baked goods to our branches, representing our brand on the road.
Jolana Vrbová
Our experienced HR manager, who transitioned from a corporate environment to a family business, will be your advisor and ally. She will ensure that your onboarding process is smooth and without complications.
